Top 10 ways to keep yourself motivated in all aspects of life

  • Figure out your ‘why’

You have to figure out your ‘why’. That why are you doing this, what drives you, you have to go to the root of the thing to figure that out.

  • Set goals

Set daily goals and have a strategy that is part of the long term plan. Have short term goals as well, you have to plan everything even check feasibility and then work on implementation. The goal is the one that’s measurable and has an endpoint.

  • Choose goals that interest you

Always concentrate on the things you have interest in and where you can give your full, hear to others’ advice but do what you like to do. You’re much more likely to stay motivated if you’re working towards something that you genuinely want to do or achieve.

  • Make your goal public

If you tell someone – or write down – your goal, you’ve essentially made a promise to keep your word.

  • Plot your progress

Properly check your progress through analytics and measure performance and efficiency, progress. When you’re working towards something, it can be really motivating if you can see evidence that you’re making progress.

  • Break up your goal

Don’t make huge goals in the short term, rather start with easier tasks and work your way up to bigger challenges. Breaking up a task in your mind into achievable chunks helps build confidence.

  • Use rewards

A reward is a thing for which a person can really derive motivation, to gain profit from it. Promise yourself some sort of reward each time you complete a step/task.

  • Don’t do it alone

Join a class, or find a teacher or someone you can share the experience with. Other people’s encouragement to keep going can be a big boost to your motivation, particularly when you’re doing it tough. Have a friend with you to constantly support or guide you.

  • Look your excuses in the eye

Stop with all the excuses and procrastination, only you can do the things to achieve a goal, avoid all excuses and start accomplishing smaller tasks if you can’t do full because a progress forward is still progress.

  • Don’t let anything stop you

Don’t let any obstacle stop you, be dynamic and adaptive, be consistent, ask for help if you are stuck somewhere, just keep on moving forward. Obstacles come every time and to everyone, but you have to develop a way to tackle and see it.
